Data not linked to you: none observed. Data used to track you: none; no advertising or data broker sharing. Purposes: app functionality (scanning, sync, AI chat, signatures), account management, analytics, customer support, purchases.
Information We Collect
Account data: name, email, Apple/Google identifiers, Firebase user ID when you sign in. User content: documents, photos, PDFs, signatures, folders, timestamps, AI chat messages and any images you attach; optional cloud backups. Location (optional): coarse location/address only when you add a timestamp overlay; stored inside the generated image, not separately. Device/usage data: app interactions, device/app instance IDs, and event logs via Firebase Analytics. Purchase data: subscription status and transaction identifiers provided by Apple to manage access. Support data: details you include if you email support.
How We Use Information
Provide core functions (scan, crop, organize, export, signatures, QR/barcode, timestamps). Cloud sync/backup for premium signed-in users (Firestore + Firebase Storage). AI assistance: text and any attached images are sent to OpenAI’s API for processing; content is kept in your chat history locally. Authenticate via Apple/Google; manage subscriptions via StoreKit. Analytics to improve reliability and feature usage understanding (no ads).
Sharing and Disclosure
Processors: Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Analytics) and OpenAI (AI chat requests). Apple/Google handle sign-in credentials; Apple handles payments. We do not sell data, do not share for third-party advertising, and do not use data for cross-app tracking.
Data Storage & Security
On-device: documents, signatures, local settings, and chat history are stored in iOS app storage; images/signatures saved in the app’s Documents directory. Cloud: for premium signed-in users, documents and folders are stored in Firebase Storage/Firestore under your account. Transport encryption via TLS; at-rest protections rely on platform providers.
Your Choices
Permissions: camera (scanning/QR), photo library (import/save), files picker, location (timestamp overlay). Clear local data: Settings → Data → Clear All Data. Delete account & cloud data: Settings → Data → Delete Account (removes Firebase Auth profile and all cloud documents). Export or stop AI chat by clearing conversation in AI Assistant screen. Revoke photo/location access in iOS Settings.
Data Retention
Local data persists until you delete it or uninstall the app. Cloud documents/folders/profile are retained until you delete account or delete items; analytics data follows Firebase retention defaults (aggregate, limited-term).
Children
We do not knowingly collect data from children.
